Moonlit dust in the sky

Falls on the drowsy world

A sparkle here, a glitter there

Twilight faeries fly

To collect their dust

At dawn they disappear.

A broken silver moon shard

Fell from a goddess’s silver mirror

Wishes granted only in mirages

To be broken by larksongs at dawn.
