To those who scribble in the dark,
forever waiting for a spark,
to you whose words blank pages fill,
who capture truth, make time stand still —
in mighty words, in blood and ink,
you’ll write of realms beyond the brink
of human hopes and gilded dreams
which leave you bursting at the seams.
Take heart, for light glints near the end.
It shines for you and what you’ve penned.
Stay writing, keep fighting, explore
this battlefield, and win the war.
Come one, come all, this starlit night
to witness all our thoughts take flight.
